There’s some people that admire the game of basketball to an upper echelon. For example, currently it’s football season. In fact, the vast majority of sports fans would say that basketball season doesn’t start for at least a couple of months. Although I’m a huge sports fan, it’s basketball season for me year-round. It just feels as if something is missing when I watch and talk other sports. The passion just isn’t there as it is in regards to basketball. With that being said, it is with great honor to introduce you all to “The Crossover with DC Hendrix.”

Starting Tuesday, Oct. 18, I will have my own basketball podcast for ESPN Fort Wayne that will cover all of the latest basketball topics in the state of Indiana. Some teams that will be covered (both men and women) on the podcast include: local high school basketball teams/players, the Indiana Hoosiers, Purdue Boilermakers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Saint Francis Cougars, Indiana Tech Warriors, Fort Wayne Mastodons, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Indiana Pacers and more.

There will be a season preview show for each team that I plan to cover, as well as a guest for each team to help preview the season outlook. Also, there will be a NBA Season Preview Show, in which I’m expecting to have a huge surprise guest.

I’m looking forward to big things from this podcast. If you’re a true hoops fan, you”ll enjoy it — even if you’re not from the Indiana area. I’ll make sure the show is enjoyable for any general basketball fan. So for now, give the show/podcast a follow on Twitter @CrossoverWithDC, and be sure to follow it on iTunes, Google Play and Audioboom

I appreciate everyone’s support and look forward to this new journey with all of you!
