After already landing one top-10 recruit in 6-foot-11 forward Ivan Rabb, California coach Cuonzo Martin has now added another five-star player to his team’s roster for next season.

According to Evan Daniels of Scout.com, Jaylen Brown — the fourth ranked player in the ESPN 100, and second ranked small forward — announced his commitment to the Golden Bears late Friday night.

Rivals.com has him ranked third overall, and Scout has him as the No. 1 player in the Class of 2015.

He chose California over Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan, UCLA, North Carolina State and Kansas, among many others. The 6-foot-7 wing will join a team that will return Tyrone Wallace, who was a first-team All Pac-12 selection, Jordan Mathews and Jabari Bird.

The Golden Bears have become one of the preseason favorites in the Pac-12 conference, as Martin will bring in one of the best recruiting classes the school has seen in quite some time.
